Wife and I were nearly passing out from heatstoke after biking through a crazy gravel bike path all over the mountain. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely decor and beautiful location. Nice way to get some shade and relax. Absolute legend.

Uvala Magrovica – Restaurant Goro – 5⭐ Absolutely perfect! Beautiful bay with sandy seabed for excellent holding when anchoring. Stunning scenery and crystal-clear water. Restaurant Goro was top-notch – great food and a lovely atmosphere. A true Kornati gem!

Amazing restaurant with top-quality, excellently prepared food! We had the octopus cooked under peka, and it was truly finger-licking good. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the view is stunning — while you eat, you're looking directly out to the sea. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious cuisine in a beautiful setting! I need to edit review, add more photos and give compliments to chef! we have been here three times and next time when on Dugi otok, we will come again, for sure!

We stumbled upon Taverna GO-RO on our first day—stopped for a beer and a quick swim, and instantly loved the relaxed vibe. I asked the owner if I could come the next morning before opening to take some work calls, and he kindly agreed. When we arrived, he even made coffee for me and my girlfriend. The atmosphere and hospitality were so great that we came back for dinner that evening. We had grilled scorpion fish and octopus—both were absolutely delicious. To top it off, the owner gave us some great local tips on places to visit. A genuinely warm and memorable experience. Highly recommend!

It had been eight years since our last amazing meal at Taverna Goro and we could not wait to return as we had been talking about the škrpina we had there for the years since. This time, we brought our kids and loved seeing this enchanting spot through their eyes. We called ahead for the Octopus Peka and at the first bite our eight year old exclaimed, “This is SO good!” We could not get enough of the grilled vegetables (especially the tomatoes and onions!), and our meat dish with handmade pasta was delicious. Loved our wine as well and our prosciutto and cheese appetizer was a hit with everyone. After our meal, we enjoyed relaxing out on the chairs right by the water while our kids dipped their toes in the water and played on by the shore. We’ll be talking about the octopus until our next visit to Taverna Goro!

Very nice and friendly staff, I like the relaxed and honesty of them. The food was delicious, they have very tasteful dishes. All is prepared from fresh ingredients. Every euro is worth.
